Teamwork, WordPress, and a lot of fun at our 2025 Annual Event

Indigo Tree team event 2025

Last week, our Indigo Tree team swapped screens for face-to-face time at our 2025 annual company event, hosted at our office in Tring. As a remote and hybrid WordPress agency, we don’t often get the chance to share the same physical space, which made this gathering something really special.

Over three days, our Indigo Tree team connected, collaborated, and had a few well-earned laughs. The agenda was a mix of deep dives, skill-sharing, and good old-fashioned team bonding.

🧠 We kicked off with a communications workshop led by the brilliant Alasdair Craig from ESTU. It helped us rethink how we listen to each other, give feedback, and collaborate. Plenty of insights (and a few laughs) were shared as we reflected on what excellent communication really looks like.

💡 We also had a virtual session with the one and only Michelle Frechette focused on Customer Success. Michelle’s energy and wisdom inspired us to think more intentionally about how we support and delight our clients, from onboarding to building long-term relationships.

🛠️ Our internal sessions tackled some of the big stuff, streamlining processes, addressing pain points, and sharing knowledge between teams. These conversations really improve how we work together.

🤝 Of course, we spent time catching up on what everyone has been working on. Whether it was new plugins, UX ideas, or the latest WordPress APIs, the energy and enthusiasm in the room were contagious.

🎉 Outside of work, we made space to enjoy being together. With shared meals and drinks, it was a chance to reconnect beyond the day-to-day tasks and Slack messages.

The flexibility of remote and hybrid working has its perks, but there’s still something powerful about gathering in the same space, even if only once a year. We left feeling more aligned, connected, and excited about what’s ahead for Indigo Tree.

A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen, and to every team member who brought their ideas, energy, and humour to our 2025 annual event. Until next year!
