Google has announced that on April 21st there will be an algorithm update which will have a ‘significant impact’ on mobile search results in all languages worldwide. Google does not usually give advance warning of algorithm changes so this tells us that it will be a big one! Read more on their blog post here.

This change will mean that users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results which are easy to view on the device they are using and is great news for businesses that have invested in a responsive or mobile friendly website as they will reap the benefits.
What can you do?
- If you are not sure if your website is mobile friendly then use the Mobile Friendly Test from Google.
- Use your Google Webmaster Tools account to get a full list of mobile usability issues across your site using the Mobile Usability Report.
