The successful candidate will develop digital platforms from agreed briefs using a wide range of skills. Our developers are expected to play a full role in the support of clients which will involve periods resolving issues or running onboarding tasks as well as developing platforms and websites.
To be successful you must have the ability to work on multiple projects and be a problem-solver who enjoys new challenges.
All our team are expected to work directly with clients so professional standards of presentation are key to us in all areas face to face, verbal and written. You should have an overriding interest in coding well to ensure the highest level of performance & accessibility.
This role would suit someone with 1-2 years experience in a website development role looking for the next step.
We realise that within the digital world the skills required can sometimes seem like a wish list but we definitely require a detailed working knowledge of the following:
- CSS (SASS)
- WordPress (Theme & Plugin development)
It would be the cream on the cake for us if you have a working knowledge of any of the following;
- Gatbsy (JAMstack)
- Serverless Functions
- REST & GraphQL
- Linux administration
- Package managers (Composer & NPM)
Salary & Holiday
- £25K – 35K depending on experience
- 28 days holiday (includes 8 bank holidays)
