## Talk at WordCamp Europe 2023

Louise spoke at WordCamp Europe in June about digital sustainability. Her talk covered why it is important to start thinking about digital sustainability now.

- The talk begins with an introduction to the legal and commercial reasons why all organisations should consider digital sustainability and the carbon footprint of their IT and websites.
- Then, it goes through the various stages of creating a website, and as part of this, includes ten actions to share.
- Then, it finally summarises the commercial benefits of starting now.
